Terms and conditions

1. About Snaplet

Snaplet is a digital photo sharing platform for events, operated by BrokenSoft (CVR provided on request), Denmark. By creating an account or using Snaplet you accept these terms.

2. Use of the service

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create a user account.
  • You may only use the service for lawful purposes.
  • You are responsible for the content uploaded to your events — including having the right to share the photos.
  • Snaplet may remove content that breaches applicable law, or that is deemed offensive, hateful or violent.

3. The free plan

Snaplet offers a free plan so you can try the service. The following terms apply specifically to free events:

  • Quantity limits: You can have 1 open free event at a time and create up to 3 free events per rolling 12-month period.
  • Cool-down: There is a short waiting period between creating new free events to prevent abuse.
  • Watermark: Files downloaded from a free event include an embedded "snaplet.dk" watermark. Inline view and the live gallery are watermark-free.
  • Storage: Photos from free events are stored for 7 days after the event date. After that they are deleted automatically.
  • Limitations: The free plan does not support video, photo booth or print QR.

Disposable and throwaway email addresses are not accepted at signup. Snaplet reserves the right to suspend accounts that appear to circumvent the limits — for example via multiple accounts per person, fake identities or automated signups.

4. Paid plans

  • Payment is per event and is charged via Stripe (card or MobilePay).
  • Prices are always available on the pricing page and confirmed before purchase.
  • For events more than 7 days in the future, card details are stored as an authorisation and the amount is charged 3 days before the event date.
  • You can cancel a not-yet-completed event at any time and have the authorisation released.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds

As a consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Danish consumer law. However, when Snaplet is delivered as a digital service and delivery begins with your explicit consent (your event is activated), the right of withdrawal lapses once the service has been fully delivered. Specific questions are answered at [email protected].

6. Personal data

We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy. As the event organiser, you are the data controller for the photos you and your guests upload, while Snaplet acts as the data processor.

7. Copyright and right of use

  • You retain the copyright to everything uploaded.
  • Snaplet receives a limited, non-exclusive right to display, store and process the content solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you.
  • Snaplet does not use your content for marketing without separate written consent.

8. Liability and warranty

Snaplet is provided "as is". We do our best to maintain high uptime and reliable data storage, but cannot guarantee against outages, data loss or errors at third-party providers (Stripe, AWS, Cloudflare, Resend and so on). Snaplet's liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the specific event.

9. Suspension and termination

Snaplet may suspend or close an account without notice in the event of:

  • Breach of these terms, including the limits of the free plan.
  • Suspicion of fraud, abuse or automated account creation.
  • Requests from authorities or courts.

You can close your own account at any time via the settings or by contacting us. Closing an account deletes your personal data in line with the privacy policy.

10. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms, for example when new features are added or to comply with legal requirements. Significant changes are notified by email and shown by the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are resolved at the Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer rules dictate otherwise.

12. Contact
