Which app should you pick?
If you want broad reach and the lowest price → Snaplet
We're localised for Northern Europe, have a free tier, and typically cost 50–90% less than Lense/POV. No app install is a huge advantage: older relatives, less tech-savvy guests and people abroad don't get stuck.
If you love the 'limited shots' concept → Lense or POV
Lense and POV force guests to choose carefully — you get fewer but often better photos. Price is higher and English only. We're building a similar feature in Snaplet (challenge mode), but it's not 100% identical.
If you have a large wedding (200+ guests) and a generous budget → Fotify or Wedbox
Fotify has advanced admin tools for large events. Wedbox has good integrations with photographer workflows. Both are pricier than Snaplet Premium but give you more 'admin power'.
If you love the physical vibe → disposable camera + Snaplet combined
Buy 1–2 physical disposable cameras (for the head-table mood) AND use Snaplet for the rest of your guests. You get both experiences without blowing the budget.
Honest about where Snaplet is NOT best
We're developers — not marketing. Here's where the other apps genuinely win:
- ✗ Lense's 'limited shots' as an event feature — we have challenges and hashtags, but no hard cap per guest. If you love that film-roll feel, Lense is better.
- ✗ Wedbox's integration with pro photographers — they have a workflow where your photographer can upload directly. We don't have that today.
- ✗ Fotify's admin reports — they have deeper statistics on guest activity, which is useful for big photographers/event companies.
For 80% of European weddings and parties, Snaplet (especially the Basic tier at 20 EUR) is the right choice. For the other 20% — the large, the professional, or those who love a specific competitor feature — another solution might be better.
Try Snaplet free before you decide
Our free tier gives you 50 photos per event with no time limit. Test if it's the right fit before paying — or stick with the free version for smaller parties.
